Hi, I thnk that VOIPStunt is the best VOIP software I've used..have used 2-3 . Its voice transmission is clear and its light on the system.. Any one else have a favourite ?
No, updating the firmware didn't work...I found this site www.portforward.com . Excellent site, contains step-by-step guides for port-forwarding. Got it working now
I've always found FTP clients a little cumbersome to use - maybe I've always gone for the wrong ones. Can anyone tell me which is the best FTP client out there - more specifically which one is the most convenient to use ?
How many people here use a firewall..? I personally never felt the need to use one.. But I've begun having DCOM exploits on my LAN so I was thinking of installing one. Which firewall is the best option ? Have only heard of ZoneAlarm and that its heavy on the system..
Nice article there. Data Conversion is indeed becoming an important aspect of any business but there isn't as much trained expertise to handle these needs yet..its still a growing and relatively young field
I'm sure all of us have used the most popular messengers-MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk...I'd like to know which is the most popular among users here. I personally use Gtalk and YM the most
Its not as much hating it as people not getting used to it yet..I love the look and feel but its really hard to get around like configuring the network properties etc. Plus the constant security popups are a real dampener..
I would have to say Firefox-with Opera a close second. Opera doesn't seem to handle multimedia/flash files very well...But I find Opera and Firefox to be at par in speed. I Hate IE !
I've used two such speech to text softwares-Philips FreeSpeech and Dragon Naturally Speaking...Both are really good-Dragon is probably the best of the lot. I'm not sure how good the free ones on the net are though..
I've had the same problem actually. In my case,I think its due to a damaged boot sector. My MBR (Master Boot Record) is messed up due to bad sectors on my disk..could probably be one reason. Perhaps people could try completely formatting their partition before installing..or try from a different installation source.
I agree. Ad-aware does detect most Malware/adware. But Its always beneficial to have 2-3 programs installed . I have Spybot installed as well as having CWShredder and Hijackthis..besides the mandatory antivirus of course. Often one can detect trojans the other one can't. Can never be too careful these days !
