Connecting cctv camera to PC
Hi
I have bought a infrared wired cctv camera, that I would like to fit in a Bird Nest Box.
The reason I bought wired, is because it is powered from indoors, so I don't have to run separate power supply to nestbox, as I would with wireless, I have a spare pci slot in my pc, and I want to stream from the camera, so I can watch the action.

The setup I bought from Ebay New at £20 inc Del is..

Pickup device 1/3 video sensor
System: PAL / NTSC
Validity pixel: PAL 628*582 / NTSC 510*492
Picture area: PAL 5.78*4.19 /NTSC : 4.69*3.45
Horizontal definition: 380 line
Scan frequency: PAL 50HZ /NTSC 60HZ
Minimum illumination: 0LUX
Sensitivity: +18DB-AGL ON-OFF
Automatic conversion on Daytime or night
Daytime (color) / Infra-Red Night (B/W)
Power Supply: 12V DC 500mA (included)

    * Package includes:

    * 30 LEDs Day & Night InfraRed Color Camera x 1
    * 12V AC/DC Main Adapter x 1

What type of PCI card do I need "not PCI ex" to connect to PC

anybody help please

I'm not that experienced with this stuff but I think you need a PCI DVR Card.

See > http://www.sctltd.co.uk/acatalog/GeovisionPCDVR.html

Depending on the connection coming from the CCTV there are a few different types.

Easiest I guess would be to get a DVR PCI Card that accepts the Ariel type plugs then get CCTV cameras that use that type also.
